The series Extrapolations integrates geometric abstraction with organic forms. The sculptures transform a horizontal or vertical grids into objects of uncertain identity with organic shapes emerging from and changing the central geometric structure. This dynamic is further accentuated with the addition of porcelain slip to parts of the bisque fired dark red stoneware object, articulating the movement across the entire ceramic surface.
